IntroductionThe proposed Ganzu Towers is a development by Ganzu Company Ltd. The Client, Ganzu Company Ltd signed a Contract with Pinnacle Projects Ltd to design, develop and Finance the whole project on a turnkey basis. The main objective of the project is to develop a 7-storey block of offices for outright sale and rental purposes to the public. It is expected that the project will make a modest contribution to the supply of affordable and comfortable office space in the Kampala CBD. LocationThe development is situated on Plot L.R. No. 36, off Lumumba Avenue, outside Kampala CBD. The site has the advantage of proximity to an excellent road network and electricity, a sewer line and water mains which run along Lumumba Avenue. The site was handed over to the Contractor, M/S Wadia Construction Company (U) Ltd on 4th August 2009 and is expected to be completed in February 2012, a period of 18months. M/S Wadia Construction Company (U) Ltd is currently mobilizing the site. A foundation stone laying ceremony shall be held in the month of September.
